Last time I shared with you that I’m working on a number of exciting collaborations. (Also, I know it’s weird that I’m posting on a Monday...lol.) The biggest collaboration yet is……(drumroll please)……
Co-hosting and showing my collection at a men’s focused event during San Francisco Climate Week, this April, with Clementina Martinez-Masarweh, the “Sustainable Latina”, designer and owner of DNA Sustainable Threds. I am so ecstatic!! This event is going to be a game-changer. Of course, anyone is welcome to attend, but having an event centered around men, sustainable men’s fashion, men’s health, you name it will be huge for all of us. Attendees, panelists, and brands. It will be a different type of impact that will bring more awareness to sustainable men’s brands, like my own, to green minded men in the tech and energy industries, among others.
And you know what I’m looking forward to most of all?? Exploring a new city and making all of the potential connections possible that I can. Plus, this is another opportunity to expand how I design and redesign for circularity. So I’m sure you can only imagine how stoked I am.
Since it’s basically right around the corner, you already know I’m kicking things into high gear. With about a month and a half to go before the event, there is so much to do…hence my seeking inspiration. However, I think it has found me in an interesting way and probably in the best way…by being relaxed.
So as I start designing and constructing, I’ll share my progress and process with you.
I’m keeping it brief this week though. I really wanted to share my news with you and can’t wait to tell you all about how it all turns out!
Until next time, stay inspired!
This is awesome, congrats Ayana!!
